Even the smallest of spaces don’t get overlooked when it comes to going “green” and KW Designs took advantage of every inch in this small powder bath. The existing wood flooring was in good condition, “if it isn’t broke, don’t try and fix it”. If we had replaced the flooring it would have caused problems in transitioning from the wood floors that continue throughout the home. Reclaimed wine barrel doors replaced the old cabinetry with a new-age, rustic appearance, and the countertop was fabricated from a remnant piece of crema marfil to reduce cost and waste. Faux finishing on the walls consists of recycled paint by Metro Wall Works and a low VOC for the decorative finish coat. New bronzed plumbing fixtures and lighting above the vanity pull together an Old world/Modern feel for this powder bath showpiece.
